Of course there are more places than what is listed that sells ramen but these are the major places of concern in Vancouver. You can't go wrong with eating at Motomachi, Kintaro, or Benkei. They are all located in the same area and have a fairly similar taste. I will continue to add my ramen adventures to this list as I eat out.

#1 Motomachi Shokudo 740 Denman Street Vancouver, BC |

|
Bamboal Dark Miso Rameno Charco |
Best Flavour, Nice Atmosphere - Ichiban. After trying out all these ramen spots I consider Motomachi to be the best ramen spot in Vancouver but only by a slight hair. It has the best taste, highest quality and the best broth hands down but at a price of a few dollars more. Motomachi is owned by the same owner as Kintaro and boasts a way better atmosphere. Best Feature - Great taste Worst Feature - A little more than its competitors. Price - 10 dollars. |

#2 Kintaro 788 Denman Street Vancouver, BC |

Chashu miso ramen bowl |
Photo Finish - Second Place Kintaro has held the unofficial title as best ramen in the city for years. I recommend ordering the chashu bowl so you get four large pieces of pork to fill you up. For ten dollars the four large pieces of pork make it a better deal than Motomachi and almost equally as tasty. I like to set the broth to rich, and add in all the extras like bamboo shoots. Overall, this is a good bowl of noodles and the value edges over their cousin Motomachi but the flavour doesn't, Best Feature - Four large pieces of meat in the chashu bowl Worst Feature - Atmosphere Price - 10 dollars for the chashu bowl |

Miso Ramen add an egg |
Good Value This is the clear cut best value. Adding extra ingredients is only 50 cents more and you get stamp card so when you get to your 10th bowl you get your 11th free. Best Feature - Great value. Adding more bamboo shoots etc is only 50 cents Worst Feature - Nothing really Price - $7.50 |

Tonkotsu Miso Ramen |
Falls short Good taste but just not enough food. It just isn't enough, not enough meat, vegetables and noodles. You can add extra noodles when you run out for 1.25 more. Best Feature - Their gyoza is great. Worst Feature - needs more ingredients (menma, meat, etc) Price - $6.75 add 0.75 for the egg and $1.25 if you want more noodles. |

Instant Classic Its better than #6. The Cadillac of instant noodles. Best Feature - Quick food in the comfort of your own home. Worst Feature - You need a lot of extras to replicate store bought ramen (menma, bean sprouts, pork, green onions, etc) Price - $2.50 |

#6 Hanabi The joint in Aberdeen Mall Richmond, BC |

Chicken Ramen Bowl |
I thought I would try one mall ramen spot out just to put it in my list. Man this was bad, the menma (bamboo shoots) tasted horrible, same with the noodle and the rest of the soup.
Best Feature - You get a free plastic spoon. Worst Feature - When you found out you had to pay money for this and there is so much good food in this food court. Price - $5.66 |
